Clinton releases first radio ad, targets black voters Comment:I think this blog is very interesting. It shows people the ways these candidates go about to reach their different voter population. I think that though these two candidates seem to have good qualifications for presidency, Clinton's ad might have a stronger impact on people. We have seen how her husband was able to clean up the mess of "daddy Bush" therefore one can rightfully assume that Mrs. Clinton is ready to clean up the mess "Bush son" has done. I think that people can buy the idea of the "candidate of change" more than the idea of "Christian family man" because these politicians keep letting people down when it comes to moral standards. We find more affairs and immoral actions everyday. To me the whole idea of I'm a Christian person full of morals is never a realistic thought. Personally I think pushing this idea is like putting on a I'm a "good boy front" until I get elected because that is what matters to them. Once in office they know they can pretty much be who they want to be because they are there and what can we really do about it... if not lets look at Bush who thinks he is the only one who has a say on how to run this country.
New lawyers face a tough job market Comment:
I think this is a very important article for people to read. I've been hearing the same thing from my political science professors for a while now. We have too many lawyers. I believe it too becuase I see so many people every year preparing to go to law school. I can only imagine if all of them get into law school and make it out of law school...wow that adds up to too many lawyers. And really I myself do not think we have that many lawyer positions opened. This sucks because I can imagine the debt these people come out with and they really need to work and get paid very well in order to progress in their social status (for those who need to) and then to be able to get out of debt. Wow. Nice topic for a blog. I wish you had added a little more concrete information. Things like how much lawyers make to reinforce your idea that lawyers do not make a lot of money. Maybe some statistics of how many lawyers this country is reproducing. Keep it as a thought for next time.

To begin with, I found your post topics to be interesting, relevant and well-suited to your blog theme. You covered current events that are important in your field and you effectively tied this post to your last by indicating that it reinforced "the idea of [your] first blog." You also write in a very opinionated and provacative manner, which is reflective of the political arena you explore. However, I found your comments to be somewhat less scholarly because of this tone. Also, in your second post you use words like "wow" and "sucks" which I think could have been replaced with more elegant diction. As for improvement on the structure of your blogs, I would have liked to see more links in the opening paragraph. I also think that you should have distinguised between the blog name and the post name. You write that the "title of the blog is Clinton releases first radio ad, targets black voters," but this is actually the post name not the blog name, which is CNN Political Ticker. Besides the aformentioned suggestions, I found your pictures to be effective and I enjoyed your comments. I look forward to reading your informative posts in the future.
